I love each one of these women for their incredible fashion taste, but more for the radiance that they exude. That’s the special ingredient that turns taste into “style”. It comes from within and is what makes you unique, after all. What’s your style? Who are your style muses and icons?

Jackie Kennedy Onassis aka Jackie O. is most notably known as the First Lady to the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy. She led the pack when it came to Chanel and pillbox hats – but when I say “led the pack” I mean it – she was bold, daring, and a non-conformist. Absolutely stunning in style and spirit for her time. (July 28, 1929 – May 19, 1994)

Elizabeth Taylor achieved stardom with Butterfield 8 (1960) and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1965), but she was just as infamous for her multitude of marriages, extensive jewelry collection, and stunning violet eyes. A woman of secrets, seduction, and style. (February 27, 1932 – March 23, 2011)

Bianca Jagger was formerly married to Mick Jagger, lead singer of The Rolling Stones. Now that that’s out of the way, she is also known as a social and human rights advocate and a former actress. She currently serves as a Council of Europe Goodwill Ambassador, Founder and Chair of the Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation, Member of the Executive Director’s Leadership Council of Amnesty International USA, and is a Trustee of the Amazon Charitable Trust. Diane von Fürstenberg is one of the world’s most successful fashion designers. In 1972 von Fürstenberg introduced her now-iconic “wrap dress” for the career woman. Although once married to Austro-Italian Prince Egon von Fürstenberg, her designs appeal to women of all ages and classes. (December 31, 1946 – present)

Marchesa Casati, an Italian heiress and patroness of the arts, was described as eccentric (circa 1900 expressing any opinion that fell out of the box would be considered so) and noted for saying, “I want to be a living work of art.” Don’t we all? (January 23, 1881 – June 1, 1957)
